Our history

Family-owned from the beginning.

In 2006, Majestic Creations was created by the father-son duo, Bill and Derek Haukos. Bill brought landscape experience and a passion for hard work and the outdoors. Derek was studying Landscape Architecture in college, seeking a career that mixed design with being outdoors.

After working summers for another landscape company, opportunities began to arise. A couple of sizable side jobs proved successful, showing Derek that he had the skillset and ability to design and bid projects independently.

Derek designs under his bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design. The business remains family-owned and operated.

“After a couple of sizable side-jobs proved successful, I found that I had both the skillset and ability to design and bid out projects. It was then I had the desire to branch out on my own. I enjoy the interaction with the client, and the process from problem solving to a finished solution.”
